Meyer Park – Houston Tx // Portrait Photography
Meyer Park is a somewhat slept on gem in NW Houston.
I’ll give that secret away for free (community over competition, right?) because I’m still psyched with how great this portrait photography session went! It wasn’t a special occasion per say, but instead just a client wanting to have some professional photographs up his sleeves for various reasons. Sure, it may sound weird, but honestly it’s perfectly natural AND normal. Having your photo taken “just because” is a sure fire way to do a number of things like: Boost confidence, celebrate a personal milestone, or even to just capture where you are in life.
This session stood out for three reasons:
1) He was a natural and made it all too easy to catch him mid-genuine smile
2) For once Houston weather decided to behave so Meyer Park could give us it’s all
3) It was my first deliberate hybrid shot session (film is not dead, y’all).
We kept it simple with a two look experience, starting with casual and ending with a more business casual look. The blues went so well with his light colored eyes and just made magic!
