Hey, I’m Allison, the Houston portrait photographer behind Chic Jae and a strong believer in making visions into reality.

Many of us scroll through Pinterest wishing our living rooms had that cozy feel with the perfect wall decor to give it that perfect “this is home” feel. While that’s usually a wish, most will pin it, and never do anything to acquire that look. Am I right?

We’re all a little guilty of saying we want to express ourselves in some way but we never do. Not knowing what to do, how to do it, and even when to find the time to do these things stand in our way.

What if I told you that there was a way to let your creativity soar in your own unique way and that I’m ready to walk you through that process?

One of my favorite creative outlets is photography and I choose to share it with you all. Aside from that, as a Houston portrait photographer I also take on a few personal projects, some pertaining to photography, and others simply DIY for home/life. My love for these projects allow me to keep a fresh mind about what I can offer you, whether it’s new ways to display your custom portraits, or even the way your portraits are captured, I intend to keep everything fresh.
