Just A Little Appreciation
You Guys Are AWESOME! Wanna know why?
They say a little bit of feel good and appreciation goes a long way, and the love you guys have given me got me through over 24 hours of a not so great time.
I spent my entire yesterday taking care of an extremely sick dog.
It surely wasn’t how I planned on spending my day and I can’t lie and say that I wasn’t cranky from not getting any rest.
I was sleep deprived, covered in nasty (you don’t wanna know), and having to push past it all to hand feed my furbaby drops of water. It started while the moon was up and ended when the moon disappeared and rose again. Time slipped by and the day slipped right between my fingers…
Now she’s finally sleeping, clearly feeling better by the way she’s wagging her tail, and I can’t help but feel grateful.
The work I was supposed to do could wait for me to take care of what immediately needed my attention.
Days like yesterday are why I’m eternally grateful to my clients who have believed in my cause and trusted me with bringing their vision to fruition.
Those of you who have seen the value in my process, in my art, in my goals; thanks.
You are a part of the reason why I’m here, in a position where I determine what day is dedicated to what.
So even though I need to scrub a variety of surfaces in my apartment, I’m doing so not worried about how to make up yesterday.
I hope to continue to give you guys what you need to show my appreciation for you doing the same for me.
