What word is there to describe how proud you are to see a friend killing it?! Both in life & during their on campus senior session?

Knowing how studious, intelligent, and hardworking she has always been makes me feel a bit silly for not having mulled over what I’d say when her successes came about. Because there was no doubt in my mind that her life feats would come one by one over time, deservedly so. So, for now, let’s just say that I felt like my heart was swelling seeing Nikole dressed for her on campus senior session, in celebration of her graduating from grad school.
I met Nikole way back when in the fourth grade when being awkward but unbothered was the way of life (and pretty much still is). One morning my Ma told me that I’d be riding the bus from then on so I got on, and had not one clue where to sit. Nikole scooted over to let me sit down and I’m not sure how it happened or even when, but we became best friends.

Senior Styling

Nikole had two very necessary looks that every graduating senior should have for their senior session, and added her own twist to them. A school shirt with a super cute white mini skirt and blue heels to pull out the blue in her t-shirt was the first we shot in. What I loved the most about this outfit was that it was completely her school’s colors but still kept a chic and fun look, avoiding the pep rally or football attendee look that wearing school colors can  easily give. Her second outfit was the classic little black dress paired with her Master’s hood and cap. Very simple, but very much so on point for a woman who just made a huge leap with both her education as well as her career.
